I have been working on this piece over the past 3 weeks during my free time. Happy to see it up to a point I am happy with it (because honestly, it's never finished).
I did this as a pencil drawing:

It's been a really hectic week for me. Some bad news in family have kept me up and I have needed to reestructure my priorities a bit, but I'm still working on some new stuff. As such, I want to post a little peek at what I'm working on.
On the 3D front, I've started a couple of projects and I am currently doing a version of the Spirit Tracks Train from the DS Zelda game. Model is complete, next step is UV and texture. My velociraptor is still on hold as I haven't been able to get ahold of Zbrush for sculpting, though I am looking at Mudbox as an option, but it is fully modeled and UVed.
I have also been working this past few days on a zelda illustration. This has been a great way to get back into shape with illustrating in photoshop.
Have you ever had a dream regarding a mystical object that can send all of reality to oblivion?
Well I have, and it's this guy right here. These surreal McGuffin is part of a Universe I am building with the help of someone close to me, and now I have a good visual representation of it. Each side represents 1 aspect of reality: Space, Time, and Matter. Hope you like!
Done in Maya in about a day.
I've started a Comic Book Character series of drawings. Basically just doing my own version of some comic book characters.
First one up: Wonder Woman
As a challenge for 2015, I have tasked myself to do at least 1 concept/sketch each week. I will be uploading them to this blog and, who knows, the best ones might end up in my gallery.
Here are the first two weeks:
January week 1:
January Week 2:
This will also help me try different ways of illustrating and give me much needed practice.
My new website is up! I'm happy to share my work, old and new, and will be updating the website regularly. There's a number of pieces on the gallery already, and I'm working on new 3D models and a few illustrations as well. I will also post announcements and information on my current indie project.
Really excited to use this website as a means to display my work, connect with people and get feedback.
Cheers!
